About Dasha

As a parent of two children—one 5 years old and one 10 years old with dyslexia—I can confidently say that Dasha has made a remarkable difference in our lives. Before working with her, homework time was one of the most stressful parts of our day. My 10-year-old often felt overwhelmed and discouraged, and my 5-year-old struggled to stay engaged. But since Dasha stepped in, everything has changed. Dasha has a gift for meeting each child exactly where they are. She’s incredibly patient, encouraging, and creative in the way she teaches. My older child, who once dreaded reading, now approaches learning with more confidence and curiosity. Dasha’s strategies for supporting dyslexia have been effective and empowering—not only for my child, but for us as a family. She’s also been wonderful with my 5-year-old, who absolutely adores her lessons and looks forward to learning time. Dasha makes learning fun, hands-on, and meaningful for both of my kids, even though their needs are so different. On top of all that, Dasha communicates with us daily, sharing thoughtful notes about how the day went—including behavior updates, learning highlights, and even what the kids ate. That level of care and transparency is rare and incredibly appreciated. Thanks to Dasha, our entire approach to homework and learning has shifted from stress to joy.
