Empowering students to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With 10 years of experience as a Certified teacher, I specialize in Math and study skills for elementary and middle school students. I hold a graduate degree and maintain certifications in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and Student accommodation plans (504). My approach centers on building confidence by breaking complex problems into manageable steps and connecting concepts to your child's personal interests. I actively observe how each student engages with new material to tailor my methods, whether through visual aids or hands-on practice. I prioritize clear, consistent communication with families to ensure we remain a collaborative team. Nothing compares to the joy of witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student masters a new skill.
