About Darlene

Hello, I became a nanny right after high school and a few years later, I went to a nanny school. I studied child development (birth to 13), food & nut., creative play, music, art & literature appreciation, newborn practicum, caring for the sick child, first aid (CPR), water safety, etc. Over 8 years, I was a nanny for 3 families. I provided quality child care, drove children to activities, performed light housekeeping and complied with parents child rearing preferences. I have experience in multiples & special needs. I then became a children's ski instructor for 18 years at Big Sky. I also was a resort babysitter for numerous guests during the evenings. I'm very patient, reliable, positive and caring. I enjoy helping children build their self-esteem, self-confidence and independence. I love being outdoors, hiking, skiing and camping with my 14-year-old son, husband and dog, Waylan.
