About Darlene

I'd describe my personality as positive, humorous and engaging. I like caring for seniors because I spent years caring for my elderly mother and it was something I really enjoyed doing. I also have done volunteer work at a senior citizen center. I'm looking for a job that will give me flexibility in hours since I retired from teaching in 2019. I really want to make a difference in the life of a senior and hopefully provide excellent service. I started caring for seniors when my mom started experiencing health challenges in 2016. She passed in 2022. In my spare time, I like to read, watch basketball and other sports, attend church and experience different restaurants. I love to eat good food. One thing you should know about me is I'm reliable and trustworthy. I have a heart to help seniors. My skills include organization, communication, and helping seniors feel valuable.
