For the past 3 years I have been a live in Companion Care Provider, caring for an 85-year-old gentlemen with Dementia in his home. During that time my responsibilities included: preparing meals, light housekeeping/maintenance, assist with bathing/dressing, administer medications, mobility assistance, physical/mental motivation, transport/accompany to doctors/hospital. I created a daily logbook to include Vitals, Rx's with pictures, meals and daily notes. I also picked up scripts and grocery shopped as needed. Once a month, met with in-home NP and POA to discuss clients health. I also assisted with scheduling and provided reports as needed. As his dementia increased, I was trained and transitioned to Full ADL care and End of Life care. I have also worked for several other seniors as a companion provider with different needs.

Darlene has worked for ADL homecare for three yrs. She is a very compassionate person, and takes care of family members with Dementia in their home and also in the nursing home. Duties have included, personal care, showers/bath, toileting, dressing, oral care. Cooking, cleaning, medication, Vitals, Dr. visits. Shopping, visits with family members, nurses. Hospice care has also been given.
