In my previous employment before working with families through Care. com, I was an office manager for a TK-8th grade charter school, I have taught preschool in a traditional setting, worked with infants and toddlers in a Montessori preschool, and as a teacher's assistant at the elementary grade level. I have 3 years experience in working with homeschooled children, and the past two years have been working with a high school student. I thoroughly enjoy working with the younger generation, it gives me great satisfaction to know that I can have a positive impact on their lives and thus our future. I can not say enough wonderful things about Darlene. She has been with my family for the past 5 years. She has provided exceptional care to my 3 children and become a huge part of our lives. She has assisted with transportation, homework and general caregiving after school. She is incredibly reliable. She is also flexible and easily adjusts to changes in schedule and needs. The care and concern she has provided my children has been unmatched from the time they were in elementary school until high school. Darlene is a fantastic caregiver and would provide exceptional care for the next family she works with.
