About Darlana

I am a Certified Caregiver in the State of Texas. I am a mother of adult children and a grandmother. I had taken care of my father for many years whose health went downhill. I cooked for him, distributed his medication, drove him to doctors appointments, etc. I also took care of my husband for several months after getting out of the hospital from an accident that left him with spinal cord damage. That is what got me wanting to do caregiving. I cared for an 87-year-old women for two years who was wheel chair bound. And also cared for dementia and alzhiemers patients. I am a kind, caring, strong, dependable person and love to share my heart and compassion with other families whose loved ones need extra help and attention. I love knitting, crocheting, all crafting. I also love gardening and bird watching / feeding. I like cooking and am very good at tiding up around the house. I have a lot of spare time on my hands and can also be available at short notice.
