Hi I'm Darien, I am 28-years-old and I am a creative educator, with a degree in Child Development, and a passion for caring for children. I am certified in CPR and a certified infant, toddler and preschool teacher, as well as a certified Forest Kindergarten Teacher. I have experience in a classroom setting and have worked as a lead toddler teacher in two varying preschool programs. In college I studied the impact of nature, and outdoor experiences on early childhood development. I fell in love with the idea of teaching children in nature, and decided an indoor, 'traditional' classroom environment was not where I wanted to be. I am passionate about nature, art and playing outdoors and strive to implement meaningful learning opportunities through play experiences. I believe my educational experience, combined with my practical experience with children, and passion for learning, will make me a great fit for any home.

Darien has done a fantastic job caring for our 5-month old a few weeks between me going back to work and my baby starting daycare. She talks and sings to my baby and plays with her all day. She is competent with feeds, diaper changes, and anticipating my child's needs, and keeps detailed notes and gives great updates at the end of the day! She genuinely enjoys working with babies and young children and it really shows! I am so happy I chose her to watch our baby and she will definitely be our go-to for any future date nights or other times we need care for our little one!
