About Darien

I am a 23-year-old creative and motivated Hampshire College graduate, with a passion for caring for children. I am certified in CPR and a certified infant, toddler and preschool teacher, as well as a certified Forest Kindergarten Teacher. I have experience in a classroom setting and worked as a lead toddler teacher for over a year. In my time at Hampshire College I conducted a senior research study on the value of nature and outdoor experiences in early childhood - something I believe is incredibly important and meaningful. I am passionate about nature, art and playing outdoors and strive to implement meaningful learning opportunities through play experiences. I believe my educational experience, practical experience with children, and passion for learning, make me a great fit for any home.
