About Daria

Hello! I'm Daria! I'm a life-long learner, a college graduate, and TEFL certified. I worked as a teacher for years before COVID. I taught teens for a year in private tutoring. I edited papers and helped my students with dissertations, reading comprehension, English vocabulary, and essay writing for college prep. My earliest and first teaching job was teaching my youngest sister Japanese. I grew up with a dad who spoke 6 languages, so education is very important to me. I am a linguist. Japanese was the second language I learned starting at a young age, so I speak it at a high level. Later I studied Korean. Currently I'm studying Turkish actively and Chinese passively. I worked as a virtual English teacher before COVID for schools in Japan, Korea, and China. I enjoy teaching and learning new things. I have a bubbly, positive, outgoing personality.
