Hello! My name is Darece and my husband and I are so excited to have moved to Gretna last summer to be closer to our grown children and other family members. I'm 60 years old and have been self employed for 22 years as a licensed massage therapist and Pilates instructor along with the last 2 years running a cleaning business for Rental home in my home community. I've been a Nanny to several families at different points in my life and that is truly what brings me the most joy! I knew when we moved that that is what I wanted to focus on doing. I also completed my Post Partum Doula training last fall and am working on getting my certification. I've worked with several families in New Orleans and can provide excellent references. Darece has been an absolute delight as both our former nanny (1.5 YO at the time) and current babysitter (2.5 YO). Her cheerful disposition, kindness, and boundless energy makes her so great with kiddos; our toddler can't get enough of her! We can always count on her to be reliable and punctual, which brings us great peace of mind. She also has an incredible knack for getting our toddler to do things we couldn't manage ourselves, like ACTUALLY wearing sunglasses on our walks and playing with a new, intimidating rocking chair. Darece's positive attitude and patience truly shine through in her interactions with our little one. We highly recommend her to any family seeking a trustworthy caregiver who brings sunshine into their home.
