About Darcy

I've always had a passion for caring for children. It started when I was a teenager and babysat in my neighborhood. Seeing the positive impact I had on those families inspired me to pursue a career in childcare. I'm a patient, friendly, and calm caregiver who has 5 years of experience caring for children of all ages. I believe in open and honest communication with parents and always follow their preferred communication method to discuss their child's day or any issues that arise. I'm also very comfortable enforcing household rules to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for the children in my care. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports, board games, and educational games that promote learning. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children at a time and have experience with children of all ages, from toddlers to preteens. I am currently working towards my Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Neuroscience, and am a Certified Medical Assistant!
