About Darcy

In November 2014, my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Dementia. With the support and education from the Del Oro Resource Center and the Alzheimer's Association I learned how to care for my mother with compassion and attentiveness while understanding her needs, wishes and fears. My background is in Child Development and now, In-Home Care for adults and seniors. Some of the daily tasks that I provide are healthy meal preparation, reading, games, art, daily walks, laundry, transportation to and from doctor appointments and light cleaning. Please know that I understand what it means to be a compassionate and attentive caregiver. My passion is to provide nurturing, high quality and developmentally appropriate child and adult in-home care. Providing peace of mind for families that their loved ones are well cared for, is very important to me.
