Hi, I'm Darcy! I have 4 years of full time Nanny experience with one family, caring for twin boys. They are off to kindergarten this fall and I am looking for another full time position to start in August! Working with one family for 4 years has given me a deeper knowledge of childhood development ages 1-5 as well as dealing with various sensory issues, potty training, preschool drop off/pick ups and housekeeping! My approach to childcare is one of mindfulness and helping children cultivate independence early on; making sure they always feel safe and heard, knowing that their opinions matter and learning how to deal with difficult emotions in healthy ways.
