Warm, adaptable, and endlessly patient -- I'm the kind of person who genuinely lights up when a student has their "aha" moment. Tutoring has always felt less like work and more like my calling. For 15+ years as a paraeducator, I've worked daily alongside students with IEPs and learning disabilities, building the kind of trust and consistency that makes real growth possible. There's nothing quite like watching a young learner go from uncertain to unstoppable. I'm seeking a role where I can bring that same patience, positivity, and clear communication to students who need more than just instruction -- they need someone in their corner. My goal is simple: create a space where confidence and skills grow together, at a pace that actually works for them. Outside of work, you'll find me lost in a good book, spending time with my family, watching Blazer basketball or being bossed around by my cat.
