I discovered my love of caring for children when I started babysitting for my neighbors and raising my two little brothers while in high school. Initially, I babysat just to earn some extra funds. However, as I spent more time with children of various age groups, I discovered how satisfying it was to play with them, nurture them, and teach them life skills. I enjoyed being part of their development and being able to help shape who they would become. Aside from those pleasurable aspects of the job, being a nanny is a serious responsbility where you always need to be watching and anticipating so that you can keep the child safe. Maturity and having great judgment is something that is vital to maintain a balance of fun and engagement with the child, while they are well-protected from any sort of danger or accident.
