About Daphanie

I'd describe my personality as kind, patient compassionate I like caring for seniors because I help them feel safe. I like seeing them happy and healthy and spending time with others doing things they enjoy. I'm looking for a job that is rewarding that helps seniors continue to live quality of life at home and in community I started caring for seniors as a teenager with my grandmother. Ive been in social services for 20 plus years and worked with geriatric patients in both home and extended care facilities. I have experience with Alzheimer's and dementia patients and how to assist and support patient. In my spare time, I like to enjoy gardening, decorating doing crafts and spending time with my dogs. I also enjoy going to the movies, shopping, eating out and watching Netflix. One thing you should know about me is I will always treat their loved ones with care respect and dignity. My skills include gait belt transfers, physical assistance with walking , eating and toileting.
