Hello, 
My name is Danyelle and I'm new to Louisiana but not new to caring for children. 
I have been a professional nanny for well over 14yrs now caring for children from infants through elementary school age. Besides my experience as a nanny and sitter, I have a degree in early childhood education and I was a teacher for 6-7yrs prior to becoming a nanny. 
I love watching children learn through play and being able to help parents out when needed. 
 A little about me. My husband and I recently moved here from Indianapolis IN. My husband is a retired veteran from the Air Force. We both enjoy traveling. I have 6 fur babies: 3 cats and 3dogs who are my world. I also pet sit. I have a young adult nephew that moved here with us; he recently completed basic training and currently serves for the National Guard of Louisiana. I also have a young adult son who lives back in Indiana. 
I live life for Jesus and love to praise him every chance I get. My faith is extremely important to me.

I cannot say enough good things about Danyelle and the care she provided to my two boys - we feel so lucky to have connected with her! We trust her to care for our children, just like we would. Danyelle is kind, patient, imaginative, and dedicated. She’s been a gift to our family and I truly believe world be the same for yours. 

Danyelle was the 1st nanny we hired using the care website and we absolutely love her! We have a 2 y/o and a 1y/o and she helps our family consistently 1x a week! 
We feel relaxed that our babies our taken well care of when she is here! 

Danyelle has watched our three kids a number of times over the last year. They are always very excited before she comes and have a great time with her! She makes it very easy for us and we always know they are in great care. She also is considerate of our pets too. We appreciate her communication, honesty and kindness and would recommend her again and again! 

I would have liked for this to be a shining review however I cannot say that was my experience. This was my first experience with a provider from care.com and a poor one! I am particular about who I allow around my child so I took a leap of faith coming onto care.com, it took me MONTHS to find a sitter I would hired and can say I will NEVER again.  I initially thought Danyelle was a great fit for my child with her religious background and listening ear when it came my child. We got along and never had any issues (I thought and none were expressed by her). I expressed early on that I am a person that prefers open and honest communication. I showed ample flexibility when she needed others to fill in for her, ran late, etc. I was just appreciative for the occasional help.  Services were ended all of a sudden by Danyelle via text message with NO notice, NO conversation, and NO reason as to why which has left me in a stuck situation as a single parent. I was always sure to check in, communicate, Pay, give thanks, etc. I am not sure why things ended in this manner all I know is one day I received a text message from her telling me she would no longer provide services. This is fine if she felt as though she needed to move on, however, it is VERY unprofessional and seemingly unfair, I honestly expected more respect and communication from her as a professional as we have never had any issues at all previously. On top of the sudden termination of service via TEXT, I attempted to call and text to see what was wrong out of genuine worry and care then realizing that she immediately blocked my number. I am one and done using care.com. Beware that this may happen when you book services. I hope she shows other families more consideration and professionalism in the future.

Ms Danyelle is an amazing date night sitter. She does a great job with keeping up with our 5 and 1 year old girls. She keeps them engaged and even comes with activities for them to do with her. Always on time and respectful to our home. My daughter O. would give her 10 stars if she could.

I'd give more stars if I could! Danyelle was so wonderful and great with my kids, they love her! She watches my two kids during the week or weekend and always a joy to work with. Danyelle is always on time and ready to engage with the kids. My kids really look forward to spending time with Ms Danyelle! You can be confident you're getting the best caretaker with Danyelle.

Danyelle has been our nanny for 4 years now. She is like part of our family. My two boys are always in good hands with her and she has many activities, science projects or games for them to play.  She drives my kids to their activities, helps with their school work as needed and takes them on adventures to keep them active.

  We cannot say enough good things about Danyelle. She is dependable, responsible, flexible, and very professional at all levels. 
  She has been very loving and caring for our daughters and they love her just the same.  She is very active with our children as they are almost always playing outside, doing crafts, going to the park, etc.  Danyelle's ability to incorporate play with educational experiences  has played a significant role in the growth and development of our daughters.
  She has been with, and become part of, our family over the last 4 years and we are so sad to be losing her. Her departure from our family is solely prompted by the fact that our daughters are ready to start school. It's a great feeling to know that when you leave for the day, that your children are happy, safe, and loved.  She is everything you want someone to be in your absence...an extension of you!  We overwhelmingly endorse Danyelle and are certain that she will be a great nanny for whomever hires her.

Danyelle is wonderful with kids. She strives for excellence and is always willing to go the extra mile for the kids and parents. She is a great educator and is always doing activities with the kids and helping them learn and grow. She is trusted and loving and the best person I know to have my children with. I could not ask for a better person to look over my son's.

I have known Danyelle for 14 years on a personal and professional level.  She is extremely creative, and always has the kids do projects that are fun while educational at the same time.  She has a bachelors degree along with an extensive resume in childcare. Danyelle has a lot of energy and will take your children on fun adventures around the city: the park, pool, museums, play dates and many others. She is great with babies and children of all ages.  Any family will be lucky to have her as their nanny!

My husband is in the Air Force, and he deployed for a year.  I hired Danyelle when my boys were 5, 3, and three months old.  She came over a couple times a week from 5 - 8 pm and once on the weekend, for a couple of hours. From the moment we first talked on the phone, she knew what I needed even more than I knew what I needed.  You will not have to train Danyelle. She is excellent at assessing the situation and jumping in where you need it the most--genuinely enjoying the kids, cleaning, prepping dinner, offering to pick up groceries, folding laundry, changing the baby, taking boys to soccer practice, wrestling with the boys, playing at the park, joining me during outings, letting me vent about my day--you name it, Danyelle was my right hand gal!  She was great at handling the different ages of the children, especially the teething, colicky three-month-old baby.  She was always willing to take over and encouraged me to take breaks.
What continually impressed me about Danyelle was her accountability and responsibility to our family.  It really felt like she was in my corner!  I had help I could count on and trusted her from the beginning. 
My boys weren't easy on Danyelle in the beginning, and she handled that with such patience and understanding. She never pushed them, and she always respected them.  Her Christian heart and approach to discipline was firm but gentle and appropriate.  Danyelle valued genuinely bonding with my children, and she more than won them over. She became a part of our family. We will always remember Miss Danyelle! 

I've known Danyelle for about three years. My three year old son adores her (as does my teenage daughter). She's very patient and caring, yet firm when needed. It is obvious she has a passion for children. I have no reservations leaving my children with her for any amount of time.
