I am looking for a childcare/ special needs care-giving job. I have worked with special needs children since I was a freshman in high school. The organization that I was a part of is Best Buddies, who pairs peer buddies (me) with someone who has a learning or developmental disorder. It has been so rewarding to work with the kids. I now have a special needs buddy from college that I still communicate with every week since I don't get to see him often because he lives 2 hours away. I am willing to help out with school work too! I was a straight A student in middle and high school for the most part, with an occasional B. I am pretty flexible right now but the only day I can't work is Sunday.

Danny has been a great friend of my son (who is a person with Down Syndrome). He has spent the day on campus many times and also hanging out at our house. During Covid times, he has video chatted with him for a couple hours per call. My son thinks the world of Danny! Danny is always on time either in person or for a phone call. Danny takes the time to learn what my son is interested in and he makes sure they include those interests in their time together. I think Danny would be a great caregiver. I would not hesitate to have him watch over my son again.
