About Danny

My name is Danielle and I've always been naturally adept at interacting with kids. For about 15 years I made my living as a book/magazine editor and grant writer for a public school district. It was there that first gained experience as an assistant teacher. I moved to California 13 years ago to help out when my sister gave birth to her oldest son. Her husband is a social worker for Los Angeles County, which takes its toll, to say the very least. I soon became the go-to childcare provider for her entire circle of friends. My sister and brother-in-law had two more beautiful boys and I have had the privilege of watching them grow, and helping when they've been hurt, answering questions they've felt safe enough to entrust me with (knowing how Mommy and Daddy will feel). I also just finished nannying a 2-year-old little girl every Friday and have done so since she was 6 months old. It was amazing! I am happy to provide references upon request!
