About Dannielle

My name is Dannielle, but I have always gone by my middle name "Marika" and prefer that! I have experience as a direct support person(DSP). I also have experience tending to basic tracheotomy care, and I'm CPR certified. I would love to apply the skills I've learned in that field, to working with children. I didn't have any formal education past second grade(happy to explain further!). I have experience babysitting my younger siblings growing up, and some experience babysitting while living with my previous roommate and her toddler. I love animals, so pets are no problem! In my spare time, I like to spend time with friends, volunteer at a local farm sanctuary, or create ie making plushies, painting, sculpting, drawing, etc. I am vegan and I would love to work with a family who is as well! I am happy to prepare plant based meals, but in the case of working with a family who eats animals, I would like a position where grocery/food pickup or food prep isn't a requirement/expectation.
