We were so lucky to find Dani on care.com during a time when we needed help caring for our 1 year old daughter while our nanny was out on leave for over a month. Dani was very respectful, pleasant to be around, always on time or early, and most importantly took amazing care of our daughter. She helped our daughter across a few important development milestones, kept her on her sleep and activity schedule, and taught her musical songs and activities. Dani was very engaging and is a great hands on caregiver. She was also quick to help prepare food and snacks to eat at home or on the go. Dani is always quick to play and engage with our child based on her development level. 
Dani was also extremely helpful around our house, helping to tidy up toys, restock supplies, cleaned kid dishes, and folded and put away baby clothes. She is also great with our two dogs. I would highly recommend Dani to anyone looking for a care giver for their child. 

Danielle worked with me and my daughter for about 4 months & she was amazing! She helped me a lot as a first time mom with a schedule and loved my daughter very much. We had to let her go due to family emergencies but would recommend her to other for families and hope to have her back in the future. She is CPR trained and knows a lot of information for new born babies. We enjoyed her company at the house and we know our daughter loved her very much. 

We hired Dannia for short term help while our primary nanny is on vacation - she was prompt, communicative and very prepared. She clearly has a lot of experience as a nanny and with children. Unfortunately, it seems we were just a really bad fit. I think if you're a more type-A personality and following a strict schedule with your kids, she could be a really good fit. For us, we have a more flexible approach to our schedule/parenting and that seemed to bother her. 

The reason for the lower rating: she was supposed to work 7 hours and after 5 hours, she announced she could finish the day but couldn't work with us after that (we had discussed two weeks). She seemed angry and wouldn't provide another reason other than the 'dog barked' and 'it wasn't the right environment'.  I'm still not sure if I somehow offended her - but considering I had been in meetings most of the day and had very little interaction with her, I don't really see how that could be the case. She had also claimed she was a pet lover, so I was confused by how upset she was about the dog (he barked at the Amazon delivery driver, which woke the baby after a ~30 minute nap. Definitely annoying, but if you're used to being around dogs I would expect this shouldn't be that crazy an occurrence to you). I understand people/environments don't always click, but she seemed angry and would not communicate a clear reason which felt very odd and unprofessional - especially as she announced it right in the middle of the day, clearly upset, so I had to pause my work day to handle this. She also made a few snarky comments as she was letting me know it wasn't the right environment, criticizing the dog, that the baby needs sleep training (he was a little fussier than usual today, but again if you're an experienced nanny a baby fussing for ~15 minutes around naps really shouldn't be that big a deal?), that we're using diapers that are too big (not true, he has constant blowouts if we size down). It's one thing if you don't want to work for us long term, it's another if you angrily announce this is a bad environment and are bailing on the time commitment we discussed and then follow it up with a series of little critical comments about our parenting/family. 

We absolutely LOVED having Dannia as our nanny. She cared for our baby from 3 to 7 months old with so much love, calm, and confidence. She’s knowledgeable, up to date on safety protocols, incredibly trustworthy, and flexible with our schedules. We never had to worry while at work—our baby thrived in her care, and we learned so much from her as new parents. Any family would be lucky to have her!  Don’t hesitate, hire her while you can.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Dannia care for our daughter for two days while our nanny was out of town, and we couldn't have been more impressed. Dannia is exceptionally professional and deeply knowledgeable about child development, which was immediately evident in the way she interacted with our little one.

Her positive attitude made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. Our daughter absolutely loved playing with her, and it was clear that Dannia knew exactly how to engage her in a fun and meaningful way. What stood out the most was Dannia's ability to step in and "get it" without needing much direction—she instinctively understood our daughter's needs and routines.

She also took the time to assess where our daughter is developmentally and offered thoughtful suggestions on ways to support her growth, which we greatly appreciated. Dannia is incredibly easy to work with, and her natural talent for caregiving put us at ease right away. We feel so fortunate to have had her help and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled, caring, and proactive childcare provider!

Dannia is compassionate and truly cares about your child’s development. She will go above and beyond to help with whatever your concerns are. I can’t wait to hire her again when we are in DC!

Dannia watched our 4 month old for 7 weeks. She provided wonderful care to our baby as we were returning back to work and while awaiting our spot in daycare. Each day from start to finish Dannia was always helping – not only just with the baby, but baby items around the house like organizing the toys, arranging clothes and sanitizing the bottles. We immediately felt comfortable and brought a smile to our baby’s face when she arrived in the morning. She helped to get him on a daytime schedule and made sure to get out on neighborhood walks, to various nearby parks and even library story time. Dannia provided amazing support to our whole family during this very early transition. We would easily recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving nanny that brings so much warmth and care to your house.

Dannia watched our 3.5 month for two weeks this summer and was absolutely fantastic. She had a whole set of activities to do with our baby including reading, tummy time, going to the park, singing songs and more. In this short time she got our baby on a nap routine and taught us a lot about her. Our daughter LOVED her too. Dannia was so knowledgeable, kind, and communicative. I would hire her again in a second! I feel lucky to have found her and for her help during a time we really needed it.  

Dannia watched our 2.5 year old daughter full time for 2 weeks, and she was absolutely wonderful. Filled in on short notice and our daughter took to her immediately, even though she normally apprehensive with new babysitters. Dannia was so professional...she'd come in and get to work right away, not stopping until the end of the day. She wasn't trying to take to easy route, she was there to provide exellent care and it showed. We loved her work ethic and level of energy. Would hire her back in a heartbeat.

Dannia took care of our four-year-old daughter during an unanticipated six-week break from her pre-school.  Dannia was responsive, punctual, patient, professional, thoughtful, and a pleasure for us all to interact with!  She was great with our daughter -- lots of games, pretending, parks and outdoor play, and even some "school work" on occasion.  Our daughter loved her time with Dannia.

Dannia stepped in to fill a 5-week childcare gap I had for my 6 month old, and she was exceedingly professional, punctual, and full of baby-wisdom!  She had strategies ready to end separation tears, encourage crawling, and incorporate solids, and they got out daily for fresh air and socialization with baby-friends. She even easily won over my shy toddler when she was home one day from daycare and offered very thoughtful gifts. I could not have been happier with the level of care, attention, and love that Dannia showed to my daughters and any child would be lucky to have Dannia as their nanny!

She helped my sister, a single mom, last minute with a sick kiddo (1.4 years old)! She was dependable, professional, and great with my niece. I recommend her without hesitation.

Dannia has been the nanny to my almost 2 year old daughter since I went back to work when she was three months old. Dannia is absolutely amazing. My husband has been stationed overseas and I work as a physician. I work evenings, nights, weekends and Dannia is flexible and incredibly reliable. She is never late and never misses a day. More importantly, she is so amazing with my daughter. She truly loves her and cares for her so amazingly. She speaks to my daughter in only Spanish and now my daughter is bilingual! We will only be saying goodbye to Dannia because we are moving to another state, otherwise I would have her be our nanny forever! Anyone considering Dannia would be so incredibly lucky to have her!

Dannia saved us when we were in a child care bind, coming to work for us part-time on very short notice, and she's been absolutely wonderful. She immediately made our baby feel at ease and has been great about playing with her, reading to her, and taking her for walks - our little girl now lights up when Dannia comes over! We felt completely comfortable leaving our baby with Dannia after a very short time and are grateful to have found her. She's always been on time, she's a great communicator, and just a pleasure to have around.

Dannia is the best nanny we've had! Our 3yo son adores Dannia, and she clearly loves him as her own: she plays with him, dances, learns songs, reads books, speaks English and Spanish, picks new toys matching his current interests, goes to the Zoo(!), organizes play dates, and much more!

Dannia worked with our family during the covid19 quarantine. She takes the quarantine seriously, and takes preventive measures for herself and the kid. 

Now our son started going to school, but we'd certainly hire Dannia again.
