I'd describe my personality as engaging, patient, empathetic I like caring for seniors because I helped my mom care for my dad as he endured a 3 year deterioration from Alzheimer's. I enjoyed finding ways to engage him and find the light in his eyes that I missed so much. I'm looking for a job that gives me the opportunity to make a difference. To make things better for both the patient and the family member who needs a break. I like to stay busy and contribute. I will always do more than expected. I started caring for seniors when my mother asked me to help her with my father 4 years ago. He passed sway last year. In my spare time, I like to exercise, play golf, cook and spend time with my family. One thing you should know about me is I have a knack for making older people feel comfortable. My skills include engaging in conversation that interest THEM, preparing meals that remind them of younger days, respecting their dignity while doing my best to help.
