About Dani

We hired Dani as a live in nanny to care for our 22 month old son while I recovered from back surgery. Dani arrived a week before my surgery and the day after she moved into our home she informed me of her intentions to seek an additional job. Dani informed me she would be interviewing for a job and was seeking additional employment as a CNA on a night shift. She was expecting to work for us full time and then work a night job and care for our son. Dani demonstrated a complete lack of concern for our sons personal safety by thinking she could work a night job and then care for our son. At no time did Dani talk to us prior to hiring her about working an additional job. She sprung this news on us after arriving with no regard for the commitment she had made to our family so I could have surgery. I can' t lift my son for 4 months while I heal. Doctors orders. When we talked to Dani about this situation and had to let her go, she did not apologize or give any explanation for her poor behavior. Dani also showed a complete lack of empathy/interest towards our son while he was crying in his car seat. She sat him in his car seat while he was upset and did not make any attempts to soothe or calm him down. She sat calmly in the front seat of the car ignoring him while we was upset. Dani provided us with two references who never called us back after I attempted contacting them on 3 separate occasions. I would not recommend hiring Dani.
