About Danielle

My care journey started in residential care in the Deafblind program at Perkins School for the Blind, where I learned how structure an environment for accessibility, livability, and enrichment for kids and younger adults (ages 8-22 years) with differing needs. This same year I became a part-time caretaker for my grandmother who is visually impaired. In past caretaking experiences in elder care, with my grandmother, and with clients at Wachussett Rehab and Nursing, my services include laundry , housekeeping, grocery and other shopping , meal prep, assisting with personal care needs (including bathing, dressing and hygiene if necessary), transportation, and structuring routines and activities for daily living. As an artist and craftsperson, I deeply enjoy being a companion to elders in my community. I prioritize connecting clients to their own sense of well being, and to their community.
