I have been involved with kids with special needs since I was in middle school being the president of my best buddies club. I had made a few relationships with some children but loved my experience of working with kids in a preschool who had different developmental issues. In high school, I became a part of my special Olympics, eventually becoming a coordinator. I helped to start Special Olympics for young athletes mostly that were in middle school.
