Hi there! My name is Danielle, and I'm a recent graduate with a B. S. in Early Childhood Education from Salisbury University. I have a passion for working with children and have gained a variety of hands-on experience over the years. I've worked with children from infants to 2nd grade, and I'm looking to offer occasional babysitting this summer to further support families. Before college, I spent five years as a lead teacher in a toddler program in Potomac, MD, where I developed a deep understanding of early childhood development. This experience, coupled with my recent work at a Montessori preschool with 4-5-year-olds, has allowed me to build a flexible, child-centered approach that is both nurturing and educational. Throughout my time at SU, I completed student teaching in various settings, and I also had the opportunity to care for children I nannied for. Ms. Danielle cared for my two young boys (almost 4 and almost 2) over the summer, and I truly can’t recommend her highly enough. She’s absolutely wonderful - the sweetest, kindest presence to have in your home and around your children. She’s incredibly trustworthy and safety-minded, which gave me such peace of mind. Beyond that, she genuinely cares, not just in a general sense, but in the way a true educator or nurturer does. She has that special spark that makes kids feel seen, understood, and celebrated for who they are. She took time to learn about each of my boys and built a real connection with them. We would welcome her back in a heartbeat, in fact, I’m already trying to lock her down for next summer! If you have the opportunity to work with Danielle, take it. She’s a gem.
