I started out as a stay-at-home mom for 4 years. I have 2 children of my own, both boys 8 and 3. Nothing makes me happier than to see them learn and grow. My 8-year-old excels in school and he is involved with peer helper, chess club and sports as well. He is continually being praised by teachers and staff for his ability to show respect to others. My 3-year-old is a 3-year-old but a true love and joy to be around who is always so kind to other children. When I was in high school, I took early childhood education and volunteered at a local daycare. I realized I just loved being around any age of children. Now, I am currently subbing for Richland School District as a Para Educator. I do enjoy it, especially with special needs and children with behavioral issues. As much as I enjoy working at the school, I would like to be able to work in a home setting to personally spend more time with my kids as well. I've had CPR training, CPI training (which taught me how to handle children properly with aggression issues) I believe in imagination, outside play, minimal TV, (electronics) good nutrition, proper grammar and most of all showing a child love and compassion.

I know Danielle through the as a para educator in the behavior and social skills training classroom. Danielle has proven to be very reliable and caring about the individuals she works with. Danielle adapts to a variety of instructions, is able follow directions well. As a coworker Danielle has proven to be very conscientious and work within safe boundaries, following the companies policies. She has been a big support for several employees when they themselves needed backup and shows no fear. Danielle continues to impress me with the patience and love she has for children and adults with disabilities. She appropriately, commands respect, but is genuinely caring and interested in each of the consumers. I believe that the company which hires Danielle will find it very fortunate to have her as a representative of your company. Danielle plans on furthering her education after receiving full-time employment. I highly recommend Danielle in every aspect.
