About Danielle

I go by River and use they/them pronouns! I am an artistic, outdoorsy person with a true passion for childcare. I have worked with kids for almost 3 years now, and cherish all the time I spend with them. I love connecting to the kids through drawing together, playing outside, and talking about their interests. It's also essential to my practice to teach children about the world through museums, libraries, and scientific field trips! Daycare life can be pretty fast-paced; I usually don't have enough time to spend with each child. I would love an opportunity to use my training for helping a smaller group of children reach deeper levels of exploration and growth. I want to continue taking on new challenges and opportunities in this career field. Through all the messes, smells, and tears, I still know I have found my path. The smiles, laughter, and connections make every moment worth it! -In addition, I am comfortable with any pets except large, aggressive dogs and spiders.
