About Danielle

I'm a single mom to an 11-year-old, vaccinated, and CPR/First Aid certified. I'm finishing my Early Childhood Education degree at Portland Community College and working toward my preschool certification. I was a preschool teacher in California and have extensive experience in home daycares and inclusive preschool programs, including working with atypically developing children. When my son was born, I chose to nanny so I could bring him with me, then stepped into corporate work for a few years. Now I'm returning to what I love most, working with children. Babies are naturally drawn to me, and I love seeing the world through a toddler's eyes, it creates a kind of magic in the everyday. School-age kids are fun to spend time with, and I've been a helpful tutor across subjects. I'm comfortable with all ages, from one-on-one care to large families, and both bring their own kind of reward. As the eldest daughter in a family of 4 I feel right at home in a little bit of chaos.
