I have close to 2 years experience working with two young boys on the autism spectrum. I worked directly and indirectly under the instruction of a BCBA (board-certified behavioral analyst), among a group of therapy assistants/behavioral aides, using applied behavioral analysis (ABA). I also have experience with Supported Employment. For a little over 2 years, I worked at Trillium Employment Services, which is a non-profit whose goal is finding job placements for adults living with cognitive disabilities. I truly enjoyed my time at Trillium, mostly because of the wonderful clients that I was lucky enough to work with and for. I wore many hats at Trillium... advocate, teacher, friend, confidant, professional, etc... My passion is helping others, no matter what the cause...
