About Danielle

Aside from babysitting and special needs care, I am also experienced with senior care. I worked as an in-home caregiver for an elderly woman with Alzheimer's disease and also for a woman suffering from dementia. The woman with dementia was my latest care position. I cared for her for about 3 years, living in her home for a year and a half. I also worked for a delightful woman dealing with COPD and diabetes. I assisted her with medical needs, managing medications, driving to/from doctor's appointments, toileting, bathing, hygiene care, etc. I cared for her until her passing and became very close with her and her family. I truly enjoy helping and advocating for others. During my most recent job as a live-in caregiver, I handled everything from medication management to household management, including safety proofing certain areas of the home, planning and preparing meals, scheduling and driving to appointments, picking up meds, grocery shopping, laundry, and much more.
