About Danielle

Hello there! I'm a friendly special education teacher and I'm looking to tutor over the summer! I have 12 years of teaching experience in both special education and general education classrooms. My experience includes working with students of various special needs, from a self-contained setting to in-class resource. This school year, I have taught 6th grade English, 6th grade Social Studies, and 8th grade Civics and World Geography. In the past, I have also taught 7th grade English and American History. My experience also includes elementary level subjects. Seeing a student grasp a concept he or she has struggled with brings me great joy. My goal is to make learning engaging and fun. I work with students based on their individual needs and learning styles.
