About Danielle

Hello, My name is Danielle . I am 23 years old and will be graduating with my masters in occupational therapy from the University of North Dakota in May, 2019. I have experience with caring for individuals with neurological disorders (multiple sclerosis, spinal cord, stroke), dementia (Alzheimers, ect) and plan to work with this population as an occupational therapist in the future. My grandma was diagnosed with Alzheimers disease when I was 16 years old, which highly influenced my decision regarding my academic career as an OT student. I worked with an individual with multiple sclerosis for two years and learned skills such as: transfer, dressing, cleaning, positioning and other self-care activities. Through my schooling, I have learned the importance of passion for others, communication skills and many other skills that I will use in mu future career. For now, I am looking for a part-time job care-taker job while I study for my boards. Let me know if you have any questions
