Hello! My name is Danie, and I have over 5 years of hands-on experience in direct care, supporting individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal care, and mobility needs. I am skilled in using various lifts and assistive devices, and I have extensive experience working with clients living with dementia and other cognitive challenges. For the past 3 years, I've worked in adult foster care homes, specializing in high-behavior and high-support residents. These roles have strengthened my patience, communication skills, and ability to remain calm and compassionate in challenging situations. I am HIPAA trained, BLS & CPR certified, and First Aid certified. Safety, dignity, and respect are always my priorities when providing care.
