I am currently a private tutor for several families in Westchester County. I tutor a range of skills from early literacy, to math, to middle school and high school test prep. I provide one to one, explicit instruction on study skills such as test prep strategies, using visual aids, and building efficient time management skills. I help students apply study skills to their school work to generalize the strategies learned. I am also trained in several intensive instruction programs through Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes. These programs focus on reading fluency, comprehension and math.
