Church is suddenly occupying a lot more of my time--I'm there six or seven days a week now. Also, I want to spend more time with family and friends, and more time in volunteer work. So for this present season I'm looking for part-time work. Last year, I discovered that I love spending time with my elders; I didn't do much of that as a kid, but in 2022 I had both paid and unpaid opportunities to serve both older relatives and strangers, both at work and home. Working in a home for those with dementia and alzheimers, feeding, bathing, and being a friend, the only problem I had was that I couldn't spend enough time with each man and woman.
