As you may have seen, I am not certified in anything pertaining to care. But I do have experience because I grew up in a house where my mom was always taking in kids and helped with that and I did study to become an EMT when I was in high school. Growing up in a house where my mom was taking in kids, I did learn basic things like keeping an eye out for the kids so I no where they're at at all times. I also taught myself how to cook somethings from scratch. When I was in high school, I had the opportunity to take a course in emt and firefighting. While I am not longer certified in either of those fields, I do remember basic first aid and how effective things like just talking to them can help. I also do remember how to apply some splints.
