About Daniela

Daniela has been amazing to work with since day 1. She was a live in Nanny for our family for 1 year caring for my 2 children. When she started with us, my kids were 18months and 9months old. Without any instruction, Daniela jumped right in naturally and needed 0 instructions. Caring for children is in her DNA: she is a natural care giver and like a second mom to my children. Warm, affectionate, caring, but stern when needed. My son has a speech delay and sensory issues - she would sit in on all Speach therapy and food therapy sessions and implement everything the therapists said to execute. Over the year with her help, my son’s eating issues and Speach issues improved dramatically by always using the strategies provided to us my the therapists. She always found ways to keep the kids entertained. She would pick the kids up from school, take them to fun places. Looking for fun museums, aquariums, animal sanctuaries (my daughter loves animals so she always looked for places she can see them) - Even turning daily tasks like going to the store into fun by brining their shopping carts and showing them how to pick their own foods, pay for them and then take them home to prepare. She was excellent at keeping the kids in a schedule. And I never had to worry about the kids falling asleep at night, they were always tuckered out after the day with her. She helped begin the potty training process with us as well (honestly was WAY better about it than I was. Didn’t think I can do it without her) She was an absolute dream to work with in terms of adult to adult as well. She was flexible, timely, and as a person just absolutely lovely. Last minute schedule changes were almost always accommodated. We have 3 dogs and 1 cat. She LOVES animals and always tried to incorporate them into what she was doing at home. Even if it was just running around in the yard with the kids. She had become like a little sister to me, we could not say about good things about Daniela. Anyone would be foolish to not hire her. If she did not want to live in NYC, we would never have let her go. But we are not too far from her (2hrs away) for her to commute to us. So another family will have the amazing blessing of Daniela to care for their children. If you are going to hire ANYONE to take care of your kids, it should be Daniela!
