About Daniela

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, compassionate, easy-going. Working with older adults has felt natural to me since my very first clinical rotation and it's just like spending time with close friends. There's never a dull moment and I get joy in helping them do the activities they enjoy to do daily. I'm eager to find a position that aligns with my long-term career goals. Working closely with older adults has shown me how rewarding it is to support their unique needs and learn from their rich life experiences. I'm looking for a role where I can still have support as I need it as well. I started caring for seniors when I began my clinical experience in Acts Retirement Community. Prior to that I had a 1 week observation at Holy Redeemer Hospital Rehab. Unit. In my spare time, I like to focus on myself and workout, go on walks, spend time with family and friends. One thing you should know about me is I'm an OT student so helping others has always been a prime focus!
