About Dania

Hi! I'm Dania, a Communication Disorders student working toward becoming a Speech Language Pathologist. Having family members with communication and developmental differences has inspired my passion for becoming a Speech Language Pathologist and helping others feel heard, understood, and supported. I've been around animals my entire life and have extensive experience caring for birds, especially cockatiels. I know a lot about safely transitioning birds from a seed diet to a healthier pellet/chop diet. I had a beloved cockatiel for over 20 years and currently care for two disabled cockatiels. I'm experienced with administering medications by syringe, formula-feeding baby birds, and providing specialized care for birds with unique needs. I also have experience with budgies and have cared for my 15-year-old almost 16 y/o Yorkie for many years. I treat every pet with patience, compassion, and the same love I give my own animals.
