About Dana

Hello! I would love to be considered for the nanny position(: I have over 30 years of experience working with children newborn through school-age. I began working in commercial and private child care and pre-K, moving onto developing an in-home childcare to pre-K program of my own. I also homeschooled my own children during their primary years and volunteered as an art teacher at a Montessori charter school. Most recently, I worked full time as an executive nanny/ house manager for a professional family, and loved it. I enjoy utilizing baby-sign basics during baby's first year and my teaching curriculum consists of Montessori, Waldorf, and traditional methods. My focus as a nanny is to create a structured, safe, and loving environment where kids feel encouraged to ask questions, take chances, make mistakes, and find solutions as they continue to learn and grow.
