Hi! I'm Dana, a long time teacher (25 years in the field, and 10 years here on Care xD), with experience from birth through college (and then some!) 

I'm currently looking for one time/date nights, or even short term care. I'm certified as a lead teacher (with documentation) and CPR/First Aid as well. 

Happy to help with light housework, great with homework, and I love animals! Non-smoker, I have 20yo twin sons, am fully vaccinated (and can provide proof), and I have my own car. 

I am also certified for specialization in birth through age 2, but I love all ages! I also have experience with seizure disorders, autism, and do ASL (or baby sign language for the littles) or Spanish (when they're a little older to understand it! :)

Dana is a new find for us! We are new to the area and needed help while we unpacked. Dana responded immediately to watch our toddler. We observed her quickly developing a rapport. In no time, they were laughing and playing. She is conscientious about safety and matching our parenting style. Her background in child development shows. She uses an educational, but fun, approach that encourages curiosity. She showed up the second time with a bag of crafts, books, and fun! Dana always gives us a summary of how things went. Our kiddo enjoys spending time with Dana and we are happy to have found her! 

This is the first time I’ve ever had someone care for my children that wasn’t their family. 

Dana is heaven sent in every way! I truly could not say enough to express how amazing she is and how grateful I am for her. 

She cares for our 3 busy toddler boys (5,3 and soon to be 2). My youngest is normally shy and takes time to warm up to people. He loved her the first day he met her and my other two love her too!

 She is has such a warm and inviting personality that stands out and made me feel comfortable leaving my boys in her care. She reads and plays with them keeping up with all their energy, routines, has a strong attention to the little details, and is very patient while being sure to practice self regulation and communication skills. On top of all that she also  flexible, punctual, and communicative. 

Dana has been looking after our young daughter and twin boys since they were 6 months old full time.  The kids love her! She loves creating and doing activities with the kids.  My daughter gets excited every day when Dana arrives.  Three kids under 3 is a handful for even 2 people and Dana has been phenomenal at taking care of all 3 when we both have to work. 

Dana was great with my girls and they had so much fun hanging out with her! They’re excited for her to babysit again which makes going out million times easier!

Dana was fantastic! She was so communicative from the beginning, kept us updated through the sit, and took amazing care of our 6mo baby. We were traveling from out of town and she put all of our worries to ease. Very knowledgeable of all things baby. Incredibly friendly and polite. Highly recommend for any families looking for a sitter. We can’t wait to have her watch our baby again! 

Dana is amazing with our 7 month old, keeping him occupied and challenged throughout the day. He always greets her with smiles and giggles!

We just met Dana recently, but she did a fantastic job for us twice watching the little ones and we will be asking her back! She is kind, positive, hardworking, great with kids, and has a wonderful energy about her that’s a pleasure to be around. Thank you!

Very fun, playful, & helpful with my 3 kiddos. Cleaned up, kept up with the kids physically, and was very attentive. 

Dana has been my twins' Nanny for about 3 months now and I am absolutely thankful that I found her! The first time my boys met Dana, they instantly warmed up to her; One of my twins, who is very skittish around new people, was comfortable with her within minutes. Even our pets love her! From the first day that Dana walked into our home for her interview, Bentley "welcomed" her and then was shortly relaxed and laying next to her. We believe that you can really know a person from a dog's reaction to them. :)
Now I am so glad we hired Dana. She is super playful with the boys and very detailed oriented. She sends me pictures and videos of the boys while I am at work, keeps me updated with their schedule, and sends me a full detailed schedule of their day (length of naps, how much they ate, diaper changes, etc) when I get home. My twins are currently almost 2 years old and they are at that stage where they are learning to communicate and throw lots of tantrums. It takes lot of patience to deal with this on a full day and Dana makes it look effortless! With her background knowledge as a teacher, she is able to teach the boys things as she spends the day with them. What I like the most about Dana is her friendly and outgoing personality. The boys enjoy their time around her and she makes them laugh constantly. I would 1000% recommend Dana for all your nanny/babysitting needs! She truly cares for my twins as if they were her own.

Our children absolutely loved Dana! She’s kind, caring, and affectionate, which is what we look for when choosing someone to be around the kids! They were safe and happy!

Our kids fell in love with Dana immediately.  She made them feel comfortable and they enjoyed playing with her.  She was super engaged with them and played many different kinds of games. She is clearly very experienced and we would recommend her to anyone who asks!

Dana showed up right on time and did a fantastic job with both my typical child and my two kids with disabilities. Even my dog loved her. Thank you Dana we will definitely have you back!

She was GREAT! On time! She kept track of what times she fed the baby and what time the baby slept and for how long!! She was really great with my two older children as well! Would definitely hire again!

Very professional and my kids really enjoyed her time here. They even asked if she could watch them again next time I needed a nanny.
