About Dana

I'm pursuing a Masters in Social Work at UT Austin. I enjoy helping students reach their full academic potential and build their confidence. I have 5 years of experience and work to create a supportive, engaging environment tailored to students' individual needs. I provide guidance in all subjects: all levels of English, History, Science, and Math, Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Precalculus, etc. I also help develop strong Study Skills. First, I observe how students interact with new material and handle challenges. Then I adapt my methods using visuals, fun activities, and real world examples to ensure concepts make sense. I encourage kids to ask questions to build connections. I prioritize open communication with families to build trust and track progress. We can meet at your home, online, or in the community. I have experience working with neurodivergent kids who utilize IEPs and 504 accommodation plans. I celebrate every success to boost confidence and encourage engagement.
