About Dana

We have Miss Dana as our current part time nanny and she is absolutely PHENOMENAL. I honestly cannot rate her high enough. All the stars plus ten. Within minutes of meeting her, our entire family felt safe and comfortable with her presence and energy. It's as if we'd known her all of our lives. She has truly become part of our family and cares deeply about our boys. She is a former teacher and just an amazing person which carries over effortlessly into working with our kids. Each time I leave for work I have zero worries or concerns. My children are happy and extremely excited when it's a Miss Dana Day. She knows and loves them like family, and she exhibits immense respect and consideration for our desires and wishes as parents. Her communication is exquisite; she is truly an open book who checks in, shared, asks questions, and clarifies to make sure we feel incredibly comfortable. She is on the same page as us in regards to parenting, which adds another strong role model into our children's lives, one who speaks the same language and sends the same messages and helps guide them as they grow and learn within their own worlds. She plans around their interests and even supplements what they are learning in preschool. She provides a beautiful balance of creating connections to their learning in school and also allowing the unstructured play that is absolutely vital to the developing mind of a young child. She is beyond dependable. On the rare occasional she's had to miss (I think one time only) she let me know over a month in advance! She is happy and healthy by nature. She has a learning mentality, though she possesses a treasure trove of knowledge! She is humble and intelligent and passionate about life. As a person, I love talking to her and just spending time with her myself! As a caregiver, she truly is a dream come true. She couldn't have entered our lives at a more needed time and has been nothing short of an absolute joy for our entire family. I often refer to her as our Mary Poppins and that is no joke! She makes this season of our lives complete and adds to the desire for me to freeze time so we could enjoy her presence forever!
