About Dana

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is my primary goal. I hold a college degree and currently am employed for 25 years working in the Darien public School district as a paraprofessional. I believe every student possesses unique strengths, so I adapt my methods-using visual aids, hands-on activities, and real-world examples-to match your child's specific needs. I prioritize open communication with both students and parents to ensure we are always aligned on progress and goals. Whether we are tackling difficult concepts or celebrating a breakthrough in grades, I strive to build a supportive rapport that makes learning genuinely enjoyable. I am comfortable working in your home and am happy to work around your pets. Seeing a student gain confidence as they reach their academic milestones is what drives my passion for teaching.
