About Dana

My lifelong love of learning has allowed me to experience life with a more colorful lens, and that passion for growth is what I seek to instill in students. I attended Grove City College for 2 years, majoring in K-8 education, with a concentration in math and history. I ultimately decided to explore other paths, and later returned to school at salt lake community college, where I am currently enrolled in their AS Business program. However, teaching still has a place in my career! I spent a year working at an inpatient behavioral health facility for adolescents, helping guide students through academic and behavioral/social challenges. I now work full time at a social service agency, where I have the privilege to guide families through difficult circumstances, providing routes to financial literacy, education, and employment. Working in a one on one setting allows me to cater to each student's needs and help them learn in a way that embraces their unique differences.
