Danae was the YMCA Prime Time Supervisor (after school program) for my son's school. My son is Autistic and Danae went out of her way to make sure that my son was included in the program. Danae went to conferences on inclusion and applied what she learned at her job. She frequently communicated with me about my son's accomplishments and we conferred often when problems arose. Danae also trained her staff in inclusion and made sure whatever accommodations my son needed were in place. My son flourished in the Prime Time program due in major part to Danae. Knowing Danae was taking such good care of my baby, allowed me to attend to my job and not worry about my son. Anyone that has the pleasure of employing Danae, will not be sorry. I am so sad we lost her, but am excited for her next chapter in life.
