About Dana

I believe exceptional childcare should inspire curiosity, cultivate character, and open doors to a larger world. With a BA in Social Science, California teacher clearance valid through 2029, and a lifelong passion for the arts, I offer something beyond traditional childcare: an introduction to the humanities, cultural literacy, and the art of thoughtful conversation. I am fortunate to receive ongoing, one-on-one mentorship in opera appreciation, English literature, and film theory from a UCLA-educated PhD and retired professor. I love the idea of sharing that knowledge with young minds through music, storytelling, classic cinema, etiquette, and everyday discovery. I bring warmth, humor, intellectual curiosity, and genuine respect for children as individuals. My goal is not simply to supervise, but to help cultivate thoughtful, confident, culturally curious young people.
