About Dana

I was a nanny for a 6-month-old for two years. I spent all day with her. We would play, hike, create, read, nap, eat and engage in developmental activities. I lived in Durango, Colorado at the time. I have since moved to Kentucky working in the social work field. For the last five years I worked for a company teaching parental skills with parents involved with social services. I worked with parents and children ranging from newborns to 17-year-olds. I went in the home, worked with the parents and children 8-10 hours a week teaching and practicing discipline techniques, developmental milestones, communication, positive reinforcement and CARE skills. I also worked for a foster care agency as a case manager. I was in charge of children age 6 months to 18 years old. I helped with behavioral issues, school, and family relations I have now moved back to Lexington, KY and am seeking new employment.
