About Dana

I am a Certified Teacher with degrees in education. I have extensive experience teaching/tutoring privately and publicly in homes and schools. I am an experienced Nanny, Caregiver and Petsitter. I'd describe my personality as personable, outgoing and creative. I like tutoring because it allows for one-on-one or small group learning. Students focus better, without the distractions and disruptions of a classroom. I'm looking for a job where I can help students be more confident and knowledgeable in the subjects they struggle. I started tutoring in Elementary School as a Peer Tutor. In my spare time, I am creative with arts, crafts, photography and writing. I enjoy reading and observing nature. One thing you should know about me is I enjoy learning. My skills include understanding students' learning styles, patience and creativity.
